Common questions

Does Bolo! really work offline?
Every word, picture, animation and voice clip ships inside the app, so lessons, games and the Chalisa all play with no connection — airplane mode on the flight to India changes nothing. The only things that ever use the network are your subscription (through Apple) and syncing your child’s progress across your own devices through your private iCloud.
What ages is Bolo! for?
It is built for ages 3 to 6. Everything is spoken out loud by Kapi, so children who can’t read yet can play every screen on their own. Older siblings tend to stay for the Chalisa karaoke.
How do I restore Bolo! Plus on a new device?
Open the parent corner in the app (it sits behind a gate made for grown-up hands), choose Bolo! Plus, and tap Restore purchases. Your subscription lives on your Apple account, so it follows you to any device signed in with the same Apple ID.
How do I cancel the subscription?
Any time, in about four taps: open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, choose Bolo! Plus and tap Cancel. You keep Plus until the end of the period you already paid for, and the free part of Bolo! stays yours forever.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID and choose the Bolo! purchase. Apple usually answers within a day or two.
When are Hindi and Telugu coming?
Gujarati ships first and is complete today. Hindi’s first trail is already written and wakes up after launch, with Telugu right behind it. Bolo! Plus includes every new language on the day it arrives.
Does Kapi say my child's name? Is the mic recording?
Kapi calls every child “dost”, friend; the name you type at setup shows only as text in the app, synced privately through your own iCloud and never sent to us. The microphone makes karaoke words glow and can play a short say-it-back clip so your child hears themselves; the clip stays on the device and nothing ever reaches us. The full details live in the Privacy Policy.
